Today, we possess the ability to shape tomorrow’s outcomes!

We aspire to a world where helping others is the norm.

According to UNICEF, the lack of access to clean water leads to 16,000 deaths per week in Sub-Saharan Africa, and OMO Valley is no exception.

Constructing water treatment facilities to purify water from rivers or boreholes can remove contaminants and pathogens, ensuring safe drinking water for communities.

Thank you for joining us in bringing clean water to the Omo Valley. Your dedication and compassion will make a lasting impact, bringing hope and transforming lives for generations to come. Together, we can create positive change!

The Omo Valley residents struggle to access clean water, relying on contaminated open pit wells and rivers. Limited access and waterborne diseases pose major challenges.

According to a 2007 survey, the population in the Lower Omo region was estimated at around 513,500 people

0% of population
It is safe to say that a significant portion of the Southern Omo Valley population, potentially 50% or more, may struggle to access clean water due to factors such as limited infrastructure and drought conditions.
0% Groundwater Sources
According to a UNICEF report from 2019, only 34% of the population of Ethiopia has access to improved drinking water sources, such as household connections or protected wells. Therefore, it is likely that a similar percentage applies to the population of Southern Omo. However, this number may vary depending on the specific area and community within Southern Omo.
0+ Solar-powered water pump
According to a survey conducted by the World Bank, it is estimated that about 30% of the population in South Omo has access to a solar-powered water pump. This number may vary depending on the specific region within South Omo and the availability of resources and infrastructure.

It’s truly amazing to be a part of an initiative that aims to assist others.
